Job Title: Production Manager

Job Summary:
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the production process, coordinating all production activities and operations, and ensuring that production targets are met efficiently and safely. This role involves managing staff, planning and optimizing production schedules, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand and company objectives.
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
- Ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
2. Team Management:
- Supervise and lead the production team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration.
- Address and resolve employee issues and conflicts.
3. Quality Control:
- Ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes and procedures.
- Work with the quality assurance team to resolve any quality issues.
4. Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Use lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques to enhance efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze production metrics to drive improvements.
5. Resource Management:
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
- Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Optimize resource utilization and minimize waste.
6. Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the production budget.
- Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures.
- Prepare and present production reports and forecasts to senior management.
7. Communication:
- Maintain clear and effective communication with other departments, including sales, engineering, and logistics.
- Report on production performance, issues, and developments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Production/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience preferred.
- Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of production management software and tools.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and quality control standards.
- Experience in handling electronics and mechanical parts assembly management is a plus.
- Proficiency in interpreting manufacturing files such as drawings and CAD models.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
