Job Description: Production Shift Incharge (WPE/WPC)
Role: Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of a production shift, ensuring efficient and safe production of WPE or WPC products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Planning: Develop and implement shift production plans based on overall production schedules and customer requirements.
- Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of production workers, ensuring their efficient performance and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Quality Control: Monitor product quality throughout the shift, ensuring compliance with company standards and customer specifications.
- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate preventive maintenance activities and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and address production bottlenecks or challenges to maintain optimal efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and procedures within the shift.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit daily shift reports, summarizing production output, quality metrics, and any issues encountered.
Required Qualifications:
- WPE/WPC Experience: At least 3 years of experience in WPE or WPC production.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of production workers.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of WPE/WPC production processes, equipment, and materials.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Safety Awareness: Commitment to safety and a strong understanding of safety protocols.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Shift Work: Willingness to work in a shift-based environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification: Completion of a relevant certification program, such as PPT (Production Planning and Training).
- Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma).
