Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Continental Chef (CDP) to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality continental dishes, ensuring food consistency, and maintaining kitchen hygiene standards. Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation & Cooking:
- Prepare and cook a variety of continental dishes (soups, salads, main courses, sauces, etc.).
- Ensure high standards of taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Follow recipes and maintain consistency in flavors.
Kitchen Operations:
- Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards are followed.
Menu Development & Innovation:
- Contribute to new dish ideas and menu development.
- Stay updated with global culinary trends and techniques.
Team Collaboration & Supervision:
- Train and guide junior chefs and kitchen staff.
- Ensure smooth coordination within the kitchen team.
- Manage inventory and request stock as needed.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Culinary diploma/degree or relevant certification.
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years as a CDP specializing in continental cuisine.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of international flavors, ingredients, and techniques.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent plating and presentation skills.
- Good communication and leadership abilities.
- Hygiene & Safety: Adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
