THE ROLE
We are looking for a seasoned Creative Strategist and Copy Lead who can own the entire output layer of our content and copy engine. This is not a writing-only role. It demands strategic thinking, brand intuition, and the operational discipline to run execution across multiple accounts simultaneously. You will be the final quality gate for all copy and creative output at Baheri Media, working across categories including aesthetics, fashion, lifestyle, and B2B.
You will be expected to lead ideation, manage copy workflows, coordinate across design and performance teams, mentor writers, and maintain the voice and quality standards that define our agency. If you have lived inside the chaos of an agency and thrived in it, this role was written for you.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Copy and Creative Output
- Lead and deliver all copy across ad formats, scripts, social content, emailers, and platform-specific assets within agreed timelines
- Translate briefs into sharp, insight-driven copy that balances creative ambition with business objectives
- Maintain 100% adherence to brand voice, tone guidelines, and copy briefs across every account
- Ensure revision cycles stay within 1 to 2 rounds for at least 80% of copy projects
- Self-QC all outputs for grammar, punctuation, clarity, and consistency before sharing with clients or internal teams
Content Creation: Long Form and Digital
- Produce long-form content pieces as assigned, including blogs, articles, website copy, whitepapers, and case studies
- Ensure all long-form content is SEO-aware, well-structured, and aligned with overarching content strategy goals
- Own and maintain the content calendar, ensuring all planned pieces are delivered on schedule
- Bring sharp editorial judgment and fast TAT to content reviews across all accounts
Brand Voice and Consistency
- Maintain a strong, consistent brand voice across all touchpoints, both short-form and long-form
- Reduce brand voice inconsistency issues to fewer than 2% of total output per month
- Build, update, and enforce copy and tone-of-voice guidelines for each account
- Flag and correct brand voice deviations across cross-functional content proactively
Internal Coordination and MR Tracking
- Coordinate with design, paid media, and strategy teams to ensure copy is briefed, approved, and delivered on time
- Own and maintain the Material Requisition (MR) sheet: log all copy requests, track status, approvals, revisions, and final sign-off
- Ensure the MR tracker is updated in real time with zero missed entries
- Flag blockers or delays proactively and ensure smooth handoffs between copy and dependent departments
Concept Development and Ideation
- Propose at least 2 new campaigns or content concepts per month with a copy-led storytelling rationale
- Explore new content formats, narrative structures, and platform-specific copy styles without waiting to be asked
- Push for ideas that serve the business, not just the brief
Productivity and Workflow Management
- Meet 95%+ of deadlines without escalations across all copy and content deliverables
- Maintain organized file systems for copies of documents, drafts, and approved versions with clear version control
- Optimize copy workflows using templates, brief formats, and tools, including Slack, Trello, and Google Workspace
- Drive a measurable 10 to 15% improvement in turnaround time across copy tasks over a quarter
Team Mentorship and Standards
- Review and raise the output quality of junior writers through structured feedback and 1:1 coaching
- Build and maintain internal copy SOPs, tone guides, and quality checklists
- Run knowledge-sharing sessions and creative reviews that elevate the team's capabilities
Continuous Skill Development
- Learn and implement at least one new skill or tool per quarter, whether AI writing tools, SEO platforms, UX writing, or otherwise
- Stay updated on content marketing trends, platform algorithm changes, and storytelling best practices

WHO YOU ARE
- 4 to 9 years of hands-on experience in copy, content strategy, or creative roles
- Agency background is non-negotiable. You understand the pace, pressure, and multi-account reality
- Strong writing and editing skills across formats: ads, long-form, scripts, social, and emailers
- Comfortable thinking at the level of strategy and executing at the level of a single comma
- Experience managing or mentoring other writers
- Familiarity with MR workflows, content calendars, and cross-functional coordination
- Working knowledge of SEO principles, performance marketing contexts, and platform-specific copy norms
- Proficient with collaboration tools including Google Workspace, Slack, Trello, or similar
- Self-directed, disciplined, and able to work remotely without hand-holding
GOOD TO HAVE
- Experience with AI writing tools and a clear point of view on how to use them responsibly
- Exposure to D2C, lifestyle, aesthetics, or fashion brand communication
- UX writing or website copy experience
- A portfolio that shows range: sharp ad copy sitting alongside considered long-form
