Job Description:
As a Virtual Assistant & Bookkeeper at Essential Mortgage & Insurance, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our company by handling various administrative and financial tasks. You will be responsible for a wide range of duties, from email management to bookkeeping and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize company emails, responding to inquiries when necessary.
- Assist in maintaining the marketing budget and coordinating marketing initiatives.
- Handle miscellaneous administrative tasks as assigned by management.
- Pay bills and manage accounts payable and receivable as needed.
- Perform accurate and timely data entry into accounting software (Xero or MYOB).
- Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
- Prepare and process company pay runs.
- Assist in the preparation of GST returns and other financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Work from home.
- Must have a PC/laptop with a steady internet connection.
- Must able to Work in Indian Timings: 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM (9 Hour Shift).
