Position Summary
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician with hands-on experience in both Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance of industrial machinery. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring maximum uptime of production equipment through preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance activities.
The role requires troubleshooting expertise in hydraulic systems, electrical panels, motors, welding machines, cranes, compressors, fabrication machinery and utility equipment.
Key ResponsibilitiesMechanical Maintenance
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of:
- Hydraulic Presses
- Dished End Forming Machines
- Rolling Machines
- Welding Equipment
- Material Handling Equipment
- EOT Cranes and Hoists
- Compressors
- Pumps and Gearboxes
- Fabrication Machinery
- Diagnose mechanical failures and identify root causes.
- Repair and replace bearings, couplings, shafts, seals and mechanical components.
- Perform alignment, lubrication and condition monitoring activities.
- Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Conduct machine inspection and prepare maintenance reports.
- Assist in machine installation, commissioning and modification activities.
Electrical Maintenance
- Maintain and troubleshoot:
- LT Panels
- MCC Panels
- Power Distribution Systems
- Electrical Control Panels
- AC/DC Motors
- VFD Drives
- Soft Starters
- Sensors and Limit Switches
- Welding Rectifiers
- Industrial Lighting Systems
- DG Set Electrical Systems
- Identify electrical faults and restore equipment operation quickly.
- Perform cable termination and electrical wiring work.
- Ensure proper earthing and electrical safety compliance.
- Maintain electrical maintenance records and checklists.
Utility & Infrastructure Maintenance
- Monitor operation of:
- Air Compressors
- Cooling Systems
- Water Pumps
- Electrical Utilities
- Factory Lighting
- Workshop Equipment
- Ensure uninterrupted utility availability for production activities.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety rules and PPE requirements.
- Implement Lock-Out / Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures during maintenance.
- Report unsafe conditions immediately.
- Support compliance with:
- Factories Act
- Gujarat Factories Rules
- Electrical Safety Standards
- ISO Systems
- Occupational Health & Safety Requirements
Documentation
- Maintain preventive maintenance schedules.
- Record machine breakdown history.
- Prepare daily maintenance reports.
- Maintain spare parts consumption records.
- Support maintenance KPI monitoring.
