Are you passionate about optimizing IT infrastructures and ensuring seamless operations? We're seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in installing, configuring, and maintaining both physical and virtual servers, along with essential software applications. Your expertise will be crucial in monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Management: Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers, operating systems, and software applications to support uninterrupted business operations.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement. Troubleshoot issues and implement solutions to optimize system efficiency and reliability.
- Data Integrity and Security: Maintain and monitor backup solutions to safeguard data integrity and minimize downtime. Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights to ensure security and compliance with company policies.
- Infrastructure Enhancements: Plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and expansions to accommodate business growth and technological advancements.
- Documentation and Collaboration: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Collaborate effectively with IT colleagues and other departments to address technical issues and support business initiatives.
- Technology Integration: Stay informed about emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends. Recommend improvements and enhancements to the IT infrastructure to drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Active Directory management and user administration.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Nutanix, or similar hypervisors.
- Familiarity with Office 365 applications, including SharePoint.
- Expertise in Patch Management Software to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.
- Knowledge of backup solutions like Commvault or Veeam for data protection.
- Ability to create reports and basic PowerShell scripting skills for automation and task simplification.
