The Role
We are seeking an experienced, high-performing Senior Business Development Executive to accelerate our market share in Bengaluru. You are not a fresher learning the ropes; you are a proven closer who understands structural layouts, net-metering policies, and how to present compelling ROI propositions to commercial businesses and premium residential clients.
Key Responsibilities
- B2B & High-Value B2C Sales: Identify, pitch, and close rooftop solar projects for commercial establishments, small-scale industries (C&I), and premium villa communities.
- Consultative Technical Sales: Conduct preliminary client consultations, analyze electricity bills, and present clear financial payback models (ROI, IRR, and payback periods).
- Proposal Customization: Work closely with our internal engineering team to deliver accurate technical and commercial proposals based on initial site surveys.
- Policy & Subsidy Navigation: Guide clients flawlessly through the PM-Surya Ghar scheme benefits, capital subsidies, and local BESCOM net-metering approval lifecycles.
- Pipeline Management: Own the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to contract signing, tracking all interactions diligently within our CRM system.
Required Qualifications & Technical Skills
- Education: Graduate in Business, Marketing, or Engineering (B.Tech Electrical/Renewable Energy is a strong plus).
- Experience: 2–3 years of direct, hands-on field experience selling rooftop solar EPC solutions.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of grid-connectivity guidelines, BESCOM processes, and solar tax structures.
- Languages: Fluency in Kannada and English is mandatory to negotiate effectively with local corporate heads, property owners, and electricity officials.
- Mobility: Must possess a personal two-wheeler and valid license for regular on-field client alignments across Bengaluru.
