They are looking for a skilled and dedicated Christian Translator to join their team for a unique translation project.
Job Description

Translate written content, approximately 10,000 words, from English to Mizo language with accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
- Ensure that the translated content maintains the intended meaning and conveys Christian terminology appropriately.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of Christian principles, beliefs, and values to accurately convey the spiritual essence of the content.
- Handle materials related to Jesus and Christian teachings with respect and sensitivity, recognizing the diversity of religious perspectives.
- Adapt to specific language nuances, cultural references, and contextual elements to produce translations that resonate with the target audience.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the overall quality of translations and maintain consistency in terminology usage.
Qualifications

Proficiency in English and Mizo languages.

Strong understanding of Christian theology, principles, and terminology.

Previous experience in translating Christian materials is highly desirable.
