Job Description:
Responsible for cutting steel plates, pipes, and structural sections used in shipbuilding using oxy-fuel/LPG cutting and PUG cutting machines as per drawings and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform gas cutting as per drawings and measurements
- Operate oxy-acetylene/LPG and PUG cutting machines
- Ensure proper cut quality for welding and fabrication
- Follow shipyard safety and hot-work procedures
- Assist fabrication and welding teams as required
Requirements:
- 2–5 years experience in shipbuilding or heavy fabrication
- Knowledge of gas cutting equipment and safety practices
- Ability to read basic drawings.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
