Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced R&D Engineer to lead research and development activities related to electrical products and testing services. The candidate should possess extensive knowledge of electrical testing, development of new testing scopes, and implementation of innovative testing methodologies. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in the Cable, Transformer, or Electrical Testing Laboratory industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the field of electrical testing, research and development, or technical services.
- Candidates must have hands-on experience in testing activities, scope expansion, and new development projects related to electrical products and services
- Lead research and development initiatives related to electrical testing and new service development.
- Develop and validate new testing methods in accordance with applicable IS, IEC, BIS, and other relevant standards.
- Identify opportunities for expanding the laboratory's testing capabilities and scope of accreditation.
- Plan and execute developmental projects for electrical products and testing services.
- Review and interpret national and international standards applicable to cables, transformers, and other electrical equipment.
- Provide technical guidance and support to laboratory personnel on complex testing activities.
- Conduct technical evaluations, data analysis, and prepare development reports.
- Coordinate with Quality, Operations, and Business Development teams for implementation of new testing facilities.
- Support NABL accreditation activities related to scope extension and technical compliance.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to drive innovation within the organization.
- Ensure that all R&D activities are carried out in compliance with applicable quality and safety requirements.
- Participate in technical discussions with customers, certification bodies, and regulatory authorities whenever required.
Qualification:
- B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering
Preferred Skills:
Candidates should be from one of the following industries:
- Electrical Testing Laboratories ,Cable Manufacturing Industry , Transformer Manufacturing Industry
- Strong knowledge of testing of electrical equipment and products.
- Thorough understanding of IS, IEC, BIS, and other applicable standards.
- Experience in developing new testing scopes and introducing new testing capabilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong technical report writing and documentation skills.
- Ability to lead technical projects and mentor team members.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Pay: ₹403,506.02 - ₹1,682,817.17 per year
