Role Description
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic SEO Intern to join our team in Mumbai. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Search Engine Optimization, work on real client projects, and learn from experienced SEO professionals.
As an SEO Intern, you will assist in implementing SEO strategies, conducting keyword research, analyzing website performance, and supporting various optimization initiatives to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.
Responsibilities
- Assist in keyword research, competitor analysis, and content planning.
- Support on-page SEO activities such as meta tag optimization, internal linking, and content optimization.
- Assist with off-page SEO activities, including backlink analysis and link-building outreach.
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Help prepare SEO audits, performance reports, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to support SEO initiatives.
- Conduct research on industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and best practices.
- Assist in tracking website speed and technical SEO performance using tools such as Google PageSpeed Insights, GTMetrix, and Pingdom.
- Support the SEO team in executing day-to-day optimization tasks.
Qualifications
- Completed a Digital Marketing course or certification.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, backlinking, and website optimization.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Keyword Planner.
- Understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO fundamentals.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of WordPress and Microsoft Excel will be an added advantage.
- Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and grow in the field of digital marketing.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
