Teacher Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher and subject teachers in conducting classroom teaching and learning activities.
- Support the teacher in maintaining discipline and order in the classroom.
- Monitor student behaviour and encourage positive classroom participation.
- Assist in organising classroom seating, displays, and learning resources.
- Ensure students follow classroom rules and school policies.
- Supervise students during classes, recess, assemblies, dispersal, educational trips, and other school activities.
- Assist younger students in daily routines and ensure their safety and well-being.
- Provide emotional and academic support to students whenever required.
- Support students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
- Help in preparing teaching aids and classroom materials.
- Assist in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities effectively.
Teacher Assistant Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Solid understanding of classroom activities and teaching best practices.
- Must have a compassionate and positive attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal and presentation abilities.
