Job Description:
We are looking for a well-groomed and friendly Hostess to join our team at Indore.
The Hostess will be the first point of contact for guests — greeting them warmly, managing reservations, and ensuring they are seated comfortably. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a pleasant personality, and a strong sense of hospitality.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements.
- Take and manage reservations, ensuring preferred seating when possible.
- Maintain guest history and note VIP or regular guest preferences.
- Present menus and assist guests with basic menu information.
- Coordinate with Captains and Stewards for smooth guest seating and service.
- Update the reservation diary accurately with guest details.
- Collect guest feedback and comment cards after service.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the entrance and waiting area.
- Handle guest complaints politely and inform the manager if needed.
- Assist with basic service tasks during busy hours when required.
- Ensure professional grooming and a welcoming attitude at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position.
- Excellent communication and guest-handling skills.
- Pleasant personality and professional appearance.
- Good telephone manners and confidence in handling reservations.
- Knowledge of menu offerings and restaurant layout.
- Team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
