Responsibilities
Organizational Leadership

Lead, develop, and scale a software engineering team at IEC for MSD division

Build a strong leadership bench through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning
- Own hiring strategy, performance management, and capability development
Engineering Execution
-
Ensure delivery of high-quality software within agreed scope, timelines, and budget
- Drive improvements in engineering practices, including test automation, CI/CD, and system reliability
- Partner with product and program leadership on planning, estimation, and prioritization
Strategy & Cross-Site Leadership

Align engineering strategy, tooling, and ways of working across global R&D sites
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and adoption of modern engineering practices
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align engineering investments with business goals
External & Innovation

Manage relationships with key technology partners and suppliers
- Foster innovation through IP generation and engineering-driven initiatives
Education and Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 15+ years of Extensive experience in software engineering, including leadership of large, distributed teams, and including managing people managers.

Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing engineering teams
- Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices and delivery models
- Experience working in cross-functional, global environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across organizational boundaries
