Job Overview
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Stock Manager to oversee and manage our inventory of our kitchen. In this role, you will be responsible for tracking stock levels, ordering new supplies, inspecting deliveries, and ensuring that our inventory processes run smoothly and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a sharp eye for detail, and experience in supply chain or inventory management.
Responsibilities
Manage Stock Levels: Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock.
Order Tracking: Place orders to replenish stock and track incoming shipments.
Quality Control: Inspect incoming deliveries for damage, discrepancies, or quality issues, and report them immediately.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date digital and physical records of all stock movements (inflow and outflow).
Reporting: Prepare regular inventory reports for management, highlighting fast-moving items, dead stock, and shortages.
Auditing: Conduct regular physical stock counts (monthly/quarterly) and reconcile them with system data.
Supplier Coordination: Communicate effectively with suppliers and vendors regarding pricing, delivery schedules, and returns.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience as a Stock Manager, Inventory Clerk, or a similar role in [Retail / Warehouse / E-commerce / Manufacturing].
Technical Skills: Familiarity with inventory management software (Own software) or advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
Analytical Skills: Strong math and analytical skills to forecast stock needs and analyze data.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift packages, organize shelves, and spend time on your feet in a warehouse environment (if applicable).
Communication: Good communication skills in Bengali, Hindi and English to coordinate with teams and vendors.
Education: High school diploma or a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
