Key Roles & Responsibilities
Core daily duties focus on clerical support, communication, and basic logistics:
- Front Desk & Communication: Answer, screen, and direct phone calls; greet visitors and clients; manage incoming/outgoing mail, emails, and packages.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Manage calendars, book meeting rooms, and coordinate appointments or travel arrangements.
- Document & Data Management: Perform data entry, draft routine correspondence, and maintain both physical and digital filing systems.
- Office Maintenance: Monitor supply inventory, order necessary stationery or breakroom items, and maintain tidy communal areas.
- Basic Bookkeeping: Assist with processing expense reports, invoicing, or basic accounts payable/receivable.
Essential Requirements & Skills
Successful applicants usually possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and time-management skills. Primary requirements include:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Soft Skills: Multitasking ability, problem-solving skills, and a professional, courteous demeanour.
- Physical/Work Constraints: Capability to sit or stand for extended periods,
