Job Summary
FLOWGAIN is looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with expertise in the design and engineering of Electrical Control Panels. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of power and control systems, panel design, component selection, and electrical drawings. The candidate will be responsible for designing reliable, cost-effective, and standards-compliant control panel solutions for industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop LT Control Panels, MCC Panels, PCC Panels, PLC Panels, VFD Panels, and Automation Panels.
- Prepare electrical schematics, single-line diagrams (SLD), GA drawings, wiring diagrams, and BOMs.
- Select electrical components including breakers, contactors, relays, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and protection devices.
- Ensure panel designs comply with industry standards and customer specifications.
- Coordinate with sales, production, procurement, and project teams for smooth project execution.
- Review technical specifications and customer requirements before design finalization.
- Support manufacturing and testing teams during panel assembly and FAT activities.
- Conduct technical calculations including load calculations, cable sizing, busbar sizing, and protection coordination.
- Resolve technical issues during design, production, and commissioning stages.
- Prepare technical documentation and project reports.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Electrical Control Panel Design.
- Knowledge of MCC, PCC, PLC, VFD, and Automation Panels.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or similar electrical design software.
- Good understanding of IEC, IS, and relevant electrical standards.
- Experience in preparing electrical drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical Control Panel Design and Engineering.
- Experience in industrial automation or control panel manufacturing companies preferred.
Pay: ₹17,755.70 - ₹67,668.44 per month
