We are looking for a passionate and responsible Baker / Pastry Chef Assistant Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in Hotel Management (BHM) who have a strong interest in baking and customer service. Freshers as well as experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
This position requires a self-motivated individual who can independently handle baking operations while also assisting with customer service and day-to-day store activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake cakes, pastries, breads, cookies, desserts, and other bakery products.
- Maintain product quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
- Manage daily baking operations independently.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards are maintained at all times.
- Monitor ingredient stock and assist with inventory management.
- Assist in serving customers and providing a friendly customer experience.
- Handle customer inquiries, orders, and basic billing as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, display counters, and customer areas.
- Support overall daily operations of the bakery/café.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hotel Management (BHM) or a related culinary field.
- Freshers with strong baking skills are welcome to apply.
- Prior experience in baking, pastry preparation, or bakery operations is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to contribute to a growing business.
