Position Summary
We are looking for a dynamic, result-oriented Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations for Tablets, Capsules, and Dry Syrup sections. The candidate should have strong exposure to cGMP, Schedule M, and regulatory requirements, with the ability to manage production teams, improve productivity, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with regulatory inspections including State FDA and customer audits.
Key Responsibilities
Production Management
- Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and resources.
- Achieve production targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor manufacturing activities from dispensing to packing.
- Ensure timely batch completion and dispatch readiness.
Regulatory & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, Schedule M, WHO-GMP, and applicable FDA requirements.
- Maintain complete and accurate production documentation.
- Handle regulatory inspections and customer audits.
- Implement CAPA and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, BMRs, and safety procedures.
Team Leadership
- Lead and motivate production executives, supervisors, operators, and helpers.
- Conduct manpower planning and shift management.
- Train staff on GMP, GDP, hygiene, and manufacturing practices.
- Develop a performance-driven culture.
Process Improvement
- Monitor production efficiency and yield.
- Reduce batch failures, deviations, and rejections.
- Improve OEE, machine utilization, and productivity.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
Coordination
- Coordinate with QA, QC, Warehouse, Engineering, Purchase, and Planning teams.
- Ensure smooth material availability and production flow.
- Participate in technology transfer and product scale-up activities.
Candidate Profile
Qualification
- B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc / M.Sc
Experience
- 10–15+ years in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in General Section manufacturing:
- Tablets
- Capsules
- Dry Syrups
- Exposure to regulatory audits and commercial manufacturing.
Desired Skills
- Strong knowledge of granulation, compression, coating, encapsulation, and dry syrup manufacturing.
- Excellent manpower management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Pay: From ₹540,000.00 per year
