Position :- Sustainability Graduate Trainee
Purpose of the Role
Support the organization's sustainability initiatives by collecting data, monitoring ESG performance, assisting with environmental and social projects, and contributing to sustainability reporting and compliance activities.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnvironmental (E)
- Monitor energy, water, fuel, and resource consumption.
- Collect and analyze environmental performance data.
- Support waste management and recycling programs.
- Assist in carbon footprint and greenhouse gas (GHG) calculations.
- Help implement environmental compliance requirements.
Social (S)
- Support employee health and safety initiatives.
- Participate in community engagement and CSR activities.
- Assist in diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.
- Help gather data related to workforce and social performance indicators.
Governance (G)
- Assist in ESG reporting and documentation.
- Support sustainability audits and compliance reviews.
- Maintain records related to sustainability policies and procedures.
- Help track ESG KPIs and performance metrics.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare sustainability dashboards and reports.
- Collect data for annual sustainability reports.
- Conduct research on sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Present findings to management teams.
QualificationsEducational Requirements
Typically:
- B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, Industrial, Chemical)
- M.Tech (Environmental Engineering)
- MBA (Sustainability, Operations, ESG)
- B.Sc./M.Sc. (Environmental Science)
- Degree in Sustainability Management or related fields
