British Youth International College (BYITC) is a UK-based educational institution dedicated to providing high-quality learning programs for children aged 4–14 years worldwide. We are seeking a creative, strategic, and results-driven Social Media Planner to strengthen our digital presence and increase engagement across various social media platforms.
Role: Social Media Planner
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with BYITC's marketing and business objectives.
- Create and manage content calendars for all social media platforms.
- Plan, schedule, and publish engaging content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X (Twitter).
- Coordinate with internal teams to create educational, promotional, and brand-awareness campaigns.
- Monitor social media trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and prepare regular reports with actionable insights.
- Manage online communities by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries professionally.
- Collaborate with graphic designers, video editors, and content writers to develop high-quality content.
- Plan and execute paid social media campaigns when required.
- Ensure all social media content aligns with BYITC's brand guidelines and values.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in social media planning, digital marketing, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with social media management and analytics tools.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the education sector is an advantage.
- Knowledge of social media advertising and campaign management.
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
- Understanding of SEO and content marketing principles.
- Ability to communicate in English; knowledge of regional languages such as Marwari is an added advantage.
