Job Overview
We are looking for a Diploma civil site supervisor to support civil engineering projects during their design, planning, and construction phases. The candidate will assist senior engineers in project planning, cost estimation, site inspection, and documentation to ensure projects are completed efficiently and according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare Blueprints and Specifications
- Assist in preparing engineering drawings, blueprints, and specification documents.
- Use software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other drafting tools for design preparation.
- Review drawings and documents before submission for final approval.
2. Cost Estimation
- Assist senior engineers in preparing cost estimates for materials, labor, and project resources.
- Evaluate supplier quotations and support vendor selection.
3. Site Inspection
- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with construction standards and safety regulations.
- Prepare site reports and submit updates to the senior engineer.
4. Engineering Support
- Assist in documentation, permit applications, and project approvals.
- Maintain records of project changes, drawings, and legal documents.
5. Project Reporting
- Prepare progress reports, timelines, and project updates.
- Highlight potential delays, risks, or cost variations during the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 0 – 1 year of experience (Freshers can apply).
- Basic knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction processes.
