Objective
To assist the food production or culinary team with daily preparation, quality control, and kitchen maintenance while rapidly developing the technical skills required for a permanent role in the food industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation & Processing: Assist in washing, chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients (mise en place). Operate basic food processing or kitchen machinery. [1, 2]

- Sanitation & Hygiene: Strictly adhere to food safety guidelines (like HACCP or FSSAI standards). Clean and sanitize work surfaces, equipment, and cooking utensils daily.
- Inventory & Stock: Help receive raw materials, store them at correct temperatures, and keep track of supply usage.
- Team Support: Follow instructions from supervisors/head chefs and support other team members to ensure smooth production schedules.
Requirements & Qualifications
