We are looking for a Middle management finance professional who will be responsible for budgeting, billing, accounting, reporting, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations. This role requires someone who can manage daily finance activities as well as plan for the company’s growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets.
- Maintain and analyse P&L statements, cash flow, and financial forecasts.
- Track project expenses and ensure cost control and profitability.
- Share financial reports and insights with management for better decision-making.
- Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping in Tally.
- Manage client billing, receivables, and follow-ups for payments.
- Oversee vendor payments, payroll, reimbursements, and petty cash.
- Prepare and review financial statements and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, and Income Tax filings.
- Maintain records for audit purposes and coordinate with auditors.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and company financial policies.
- Recommend ways to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Implement financial processes and internal controls.
- Support account managers with budgeting and pricing for client projects.
- Lead and guide finance team member.
- Overseeing and ensuring quality of ledger accounts, timeliness of statutory filing and ensuring quality of jobs done by supporting staff
- Handle matters relating to secretarial compliance in coordination with auditors.
- Overseeing statutory compliances relating to PF, ESI, Professional Tax etc in coordination with HR personnel and ensuring timely remittances and filing of returns.
- Overseeing administration matters related to office maintenance and infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
- 5-8 years of experience in finance or accounting (experience in a digital agency is preferred).
- Proficiency in Tally and Excel.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment.
