Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing and Procurement:
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities.
Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure continuous supply and favorable terms.
Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company.
Order Management:
Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accurate and timely placement.
Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues related to delays or discrepancies.
Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure smooth delivery and receipt of goods.
Cost Management:
Analyze market trends and price fluctuations to forecast potential changes in procurement costs.
Implement cost-saving initiatives and strategies to optimize procurement expenses.
Review and approve purchase invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contracts.
Quality Assurance:
Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that procured materials and components meet required specifications and standards.
Address and resolve any quality issues or non-conformance with suppliers.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including supplier information, purchase orders, and contracts.
Prepare and present reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and supplier performance to management.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
Stay updated on industry best practices, market trends, and new technologies.
