Job Summary:
The HR Manager will lead and direct the HR function for our chemical company. This role involves overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and fostering a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, interviewing, selection, and onboarding processes.
Employee Relations:
Address employee concerns, conflicts, and disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner.
Promote a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives and communication.
Compliance and Regulatory:
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, especially those specific to the chemical industry.
Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
Training and Development:
Identify training needs and design programs to enhance employee skills, safety, and performance.
Lead initiatives for leadership development and succession planning.
Performance Management:
Oversee the performance appraisal process, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
Implement strategies for continuous improvement and employee growth.
Compensation and Benefits:
Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive within the industry.
Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to attract and retain talent.
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
Work closely with the HSE department to ensure that all HR policies and practices align with safety regulations.
Promote a culture of safety and compliance within the organization.
HR Metrics and Reporting:
Monitor HR metrics such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
Prepare and present reports to senior management on HR-related matters.
Organizational Development:
Support the development of the company’s organizational structure, culture, and workforce planning.
Lead change management initiatives to drive organizational growth and improvement.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the chemical or manufacturing industry.
Skills:
Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Additional Requirements:
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
Experience in unionized environments may be preferred.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
