Key Responsibilities
Guest Service
- Welcome and escort guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Present menus and explain dishes, ingredients, and beverage options confidently.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems.
- Serve food and beverages according to fine dining service standards.
- Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service throughout the dining experience.
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints professionally.
Restaurant Operations
- Set up and maintain tables according to restaurant standards.
- Ensure proper mise en place before service.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently while maintaining guest comfort.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of service equipment, cutlery, crockery, and glassware.
- Support private dining events and special functions as required.
Hygiene & Compliance
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of dining areas.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and health regulations.
- Adhere to grooming and uniform standards at all times.
Product Knowledge
- Develop thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, allergens, and preparation methods.
- Understand beverage offerings, including wines, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Make appropriate recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest experience.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Hospitality diploma/certification preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in a fine dining restaurant, luxury hotel, or premium hospitality environment preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food, beverages, and wine service.
