Job Summary
As an Accounting Executive, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing Australian finance and tax functions. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, handling tax returns (ITR), calculating tax liabilities, preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS), and managing Instalment Activity Statements. Additionally, you'll be a primary liaison for daily operations with Australian clientele
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements in compliance with Australian standards
- Manage tax returns (ITR) and accurately calculate tax liabilities
- Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements
- Serve as the main contact for Australian clients, ensuring smooth daily operations
- Demonstrate expertise in Australian tax liabilities including Capital Gains, FBT, GST, Payroll tax
- Utilize software proficiency in Handisoft, and related accounting tools
- Leverage audit experience to streamline processes and ensure compliance
- Communicate effectively and professionally in English, maintaining high standards of client interaction and service delivery
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of Australian accounting, finance, and tax return experience
- Proven expertise in Australian tax liabilities such as Capital Gains, FBT, GST, and Payroll tax
- Proficiency in Handisoft, and related accounting software
- Advantageous: Prior experience in audit procedures
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
