Position: Export Sales Associate
Role Overview:The Export Sales Associate will support the export sales team in managing and expanding the company's international sales operations. This role involves assisting with the export process, coordinating with clients and logistics teams, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a foundational understanding of export procedures and international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Support: Assist the Export Sales Manager in managing the sales process for export deals. Prepare and process sales orders, quotations, and documentation.
- Client Coordination: Communicate with international clients to confirm order details, address inquiries, and resolve issues. Maintain strong client relationships and provide support throughout the sales process.
- Documentation: Prepare and manage export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping instructions. Ensure accuracy and compliance with international trade regulations.
- Logistics Coordination: Work with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of export shipments. Track shipments and address any issues related to transportation or customs.
- Market Research: Conduct preliminary research on international markets, competitors, and customer needs to support the export sales strategy.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing reports on export sales activities, order status, and market trends. Provide insights and updates to the Export Sales Manager.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to international trade regulations and company policies. Assist in maintaining records related to compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the export sales team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining databases, and handling correspondence.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant coursework or certifications in export management is a plus.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a sales support or export-related role. Experience with export procedures and documentation is desirable.
- Skills:
- Basic knowledge of international trade regulations and export procedures.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with export management software.
- Languages: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
