LCCI Market Research – Associate Consultant – Quantitative Focus
Eli Lilly has a broad portfolio of in-market and near-launch brands in the United States. Brand and marketing teams rely on strong market research support to understand brand performance, identify areas of new opportunity, create marketing plans, and recognise when to make tactical adjustments.
This role is responsible for executing global market research projects and managing a consistent, timely market research process across global products. This includes finalising questionnaires, developing recruiting lists, aggregating data, interpreting results, cross-referencing secondary sources, and reporting findings. The role requires a close partnership with market researchers based in different countries of Lilly Global and external agencies that manage panels and collect data on our behalf.
Key Responsibilities

Partner with Lilly market researchers based primarily, but not exclusively, in the US for high-quality execution and on-time delivery of market research projects.

Functions as a trusted advisor by actively participating in various phases of the project, including kick-off, approach development, execution, insight generation and data visualisations

Collaborates with stakeholders to present the final outputs and provide recommendations

Attention to detail in every step of the market research process to ensure accurate, on-time deliverables

Partner with Lilly project managers to meet all necessary finance and compliance requirements for executing market research projects

Partner with team and leadership to appropriately prioritise work
-
Share learnings with peers to identify challenges and establish best practices

Provide appropriate context for study findings based on prior market research, including secondary sources

Finalise and program online questionnaires for quantitative studies using standard templates on the Decipher tool
-
Ensure that the screening criteria and recruiting lists for each project are appropriate to business goals
-
Manage the data collection process with external agency partners to ensure data integrity and on-time delivery

Analyse study data and visualise the findings
Education Requirements: Graduate/MBA/Post Graduation in a quantitative discipline
Experience related requirements

2-3 years of market research and analytics experience with a demonstrated ability to think strategically in an ambiguous environment

Technical Skills

Strong quantitative, research, and data analytical skills

Knowledge of statistical packages (SPSS, Q, or similar) and databases

Experience in statistical approaches, including conjoint, MaxDiff, linear regression, correlation, factor and cluster analyses, a plus

Advanced MS-office skills (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)

Experience in data visualisation and reporting tools (like Tableau Power BI) is a plus
