We are looking for an experienced EXIM (Export/Import) Coordinator with a strong background in import operations. The ideal candidate should independently handle end-to-end import activities, including documentation, licensing, and coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete import cycle independently.
- Handle import licenses and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate directly with suppliers, freight forwarders, Customs House Agents (CHA), and transporters.
- Prepare and carefully verify import documents, including Invoices, BL/AWB, Packing Lists, and Certificates of Origin (COO).
- Ensure smooth customs clearance and complete DGFT compliance.
- Track shipments continuously to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage E-way bills and coordinate local transportation from the warehouse to the customer's place.
Requirements
- Strong, hands-on experience in imports is mandatory.
- Clear knowledge of import licensing and customs procedures.
- Ability to work independently without needing constant supervision.
- Good coordination and communication skills for dealing with vendors and agents.
- Basic accounts knowledge is preferred, specifically for invoice verification and calculating landed costs.
Qualifications & Reporting
- Education: Any Graduate (B.Com or Any Degree preferred).
- Certification: An EXIM or Logistics certification is an advantage.
- Reporting To: Chief Accountant.
