The Lilly Capability Center India (LCCI) was setup in Bengaluru in 2016 to support Eli Lilly and Company’s global pharmaceutical footprint across R&D, Commercial and Technology services. As of early 2024, we are more than 3000 people strong, successfully delivering and innovating for Lilly global and affiliates in a wide range of areas. More than 650 professionals focus on Commercial services, who work closely with Marketing, Sales, and other customer-facing functions. The Business Insights & Analytics (BI&A) capability is a key part of the Commercial services group, responsible for delivering analytics and insights to power strategic decisions as well as real-time operations.
This senior role will lead LCCI's Integrated Insights organization, managing a multi-disciplinary team of over 300 professionals spanning Data Engineering, Business Analytics, Market Research, Data Science, ML Ops, and ML Engineering that designs, delivers and consults on insights, products, and solutions to Lilly affiliates across the globe. As the head of the in-house analytics center of excellence, this role will lead execution supporting Accelerate Reach and Scale objectives.

The role reports to the VP & Head of Lilly India Commercial Capabilities with a dotted line to the VP of Business Insights & Analytics (based in Indianapolis). This role is based in Bangalore, however, some domestic & international may be required.
Drive innovation through advanced analytics solutions, AI/ML applications, GenAI, and digitalization initiatives.
Lead the transition towards an "Analytics as a Product" approach, standardizing and scaling analytics offerings through reusable frameworks, operating models, automation, and cloud technologies.
Foster collaboration across teams and functions, establishing strong partnerships with Commercial functions, Tech@Lilly, and other delivery partners.
Oversee talent acquisition, development, upskilling, and retention strategies, nurturing a diverse pipeline of BI&A expertise and leadership.
Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, analytics, or equivalent from a premium institute.
15+ years of experience in analytics and insight delivery, design, management, and thought leadership in high-volume environments.
Experience with the Adobe stack (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Target) for digital marketing and analytics solutions.
