In this role, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients, responsible for identifying new business opportunities and establishing relationships within the logistics industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead Generation & Outreach: Execute high-volume cold calling and email campaigns to prospective shippers and manufacturers.
* Relationship Building: Introduce our freight brokerage services to new clients and identify their logistics needs.
* Pipeline Management: Maintain a clean and organized log of contacts, follow-up dates, and lead status.
* Communication: Act as a professional liaison between potential customers and the lead broker.
* Market Research: Identify target industries and companies that require consistent freight and transport solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Good Communication: Fluent in English with a professional phone manner and strong written email skills.
* Persistence: A "can-do" attitude with the ability to handle rejection and remain focused on outreach goals.
* Logistics Knowledge (Preferred): Basic understanding of the freight industry, MC numbers, and carrier relations is a plus but not required.
* Self-Starter: Ability to work independently in a remote, freelance capacity.
