Job Responsibilities – Quality Control Executive
- Oversee collection of production and sample materials to evaluate product quality.
- Interpret blueprints to understand customer requirements and measurement standards.
- Perform routine and non-routine testing of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, finished goods, and stability samples.
- Conduct quality inspections of new part samples and record all testing data.
- Check dimensions, surface quality, and batch samples to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Inspect returned products, analyze defects, and prepare detailed reports with findings.
- Verify all products against defined quality standards and customer specifications before release.
- Perform in-process and final product inspections as per QC procedures.
- Conduct laboratory and field sampling, including visual, dimensional, and mechanical testing of materials.
- Compare test results with specifications and make recommendations for product approval or rejection.
- Maintain proper documentation including data sheets, logbooks, inventory records, and test reports.
- Investigate customer complaints related to quality issues and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Assist in preparation of quality reports for internal review and audits.
- Ensure adherence to FSSAI, Organic certification bodies, and internal quality standards.
- Verify incoming raw materials and packaging materials before approval for production use.
- Maintain hygiene and quality standards across production and QC areas.
- Coordinate with production managers and plant supervisors to resolve quality-related issues.
Desired Profile:
- Experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance in FMCG or food industry
- Good understanding of food safety standards (FSSAI, ISO, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Good communication and reporting skills
