As Manager, Packaging Compliance, you will serve as the enterprise-wide owner of packaging compliance, driving governance, standardization, and risk-based decision-making across global operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring Molex meets evolving regulatory, sustainability, and customer requirements while enabling scalable and compliant packaging solutions across all business units.
Our Team
You will be part of the Centralized Packaging Design (CPD) team within Global Engineering Services (GES), based in Bangalore. This team partners closely with global product engineering teams to deliver innovative, cost-effective, and compliant packaging solutions that support Molex's diverse industries and markets
What You Will Do
- Lead global packaging compliance strategy and governance with clear ownership and decision authority

Translate regulatory, sustainability, and customer requirements into actionable packaging standards

Drive enterprise-wide alignment on packaging compliance frameworks, roles, and accountability

Partner with cross-functional teams to enable compliant, scalable packaging solutions

Act as the primary escalation point for compliance risks, ensuring timely resolution and mitigation

Establish visibility and traceability of packaging materials to support audits and informed decisions

Influence packaging design through compliance insights and sustainability-driven improvements

Represent Molex in corporate and external forums related to packaging compliance and regulations

Enable business units with tools, guidance, and frameworks for consistent execution

Drive continuous improvement in packaging compliance, sustainability, and operational efficiency
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Packaging

Minimum 5 years of experience in packaging development with exposure to compliance and regulatory requirements

Strong knowledge of global packaging regulations, environmental laws, and EPR requirements

Hands-on experience with PLM systems and data-driven reporting frameworks

Familiarity with ISTA, ASTM, and ISO packaging standards

Understanding of sustainable materials and environmentally compliant packaging systems

Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global team environments

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience driving improvements in compliance, sustainability, and operational efficiency

Exposure to New Product Development (NPD), including design validation and testing

Knowledge of electromechanical products and assemblies

Experience with tools such as Siemens NX, Teamcenter, and PLM/PDM platforms

Background in sustainability initiatives or regulatory affairs
