Job Summary :
The Hospital Car Driver is responsible for safely transporting doctors, staff, patients, medical supplies, and documents as assigned. The driver must ensure vehicle safety, cleanliness, timely transportation, and compliance with hospital policies and traffic regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Transport doctors, hospital staff, patients, and visitors safely to designated locations.
- Deliver medical records, laboratory samples, medicines, and other hospital-related materials when required.
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off according to schedules.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and proper working condition.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Keep accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and hospital policies.
- Assist patients, especially elderly or physically challenged individuals, during boarding and exiting the vehicle when necessary.
- Respond to emergency transportation requests as directed by hospital management.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information and hospital operations.
Required Qualifications :
- Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle category.
- Minimum 2–3 years of professional driving experience.
- Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions and documentation.
- Clean driving record.
