Role Overview:
We're seeking a motivated and analytically-minded Business Development Intern to support our growth initiatives in the rapidly evolving Web3 insurance market. This role is ideal for someone passionate about blockchain technology and eager to contribute to the expansion of innovative financial products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Research potential clients, partners, and market opportunities in the Web3 and DeFi ecosystems
2. Assist in developing business proposals and presentations for blockchain projects, NFT marketplaces, and crypto platforms
3. Support the team in client outreach, follow-ups, and relationship management
4. Help identify and analyze market trends in digital asset insurance and DeFi
5. Contribute to the development of new insurance products tailored to specific Web3 niches
6. Assist in preparing materials for pitches, partnerships, and collaborations
7. Support the team in gathering competitive intelligence and market analysis
8. Help maintain and update our CRM system with relevant client and prospect information
9. Participate in strategy sessions and contribute ideas for business growth
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field
- Strong interest in blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and the Web3 ecosystem
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Skills:
- Basic understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and DeFi principles
- Familiarity with crypto markets and major players in the Web3 space
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Previous internship or project experience in a startup environment
