Paint Supervisor – Metal & Architectural Products
Location: Kozhikode, Kerala
Salary: ₹25,000+ per month (Based on experience, skills, and performance)
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Paint Supervisor to lead and manage our painting department. Candidates with 15+ years of experience in industrial, metal, or automobile painting are encouraged to apply. Experienced automobile painting professionals looking to transition into architectural and metal product finishing are also welcome.
The Paint Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing painting operations, ensuring high-quality finishes, managing the painting team, and maintaining production standards for premium products such as Royal Handrails and Royal Gates.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the painting team.
- Ensure maximum quality and consistency in painted products.
- Monitor surface preparation, painting, curing, and finishing processes.
- Inspect finished products and maintain quality control standards.
- Train and guide painters to improve productivity and workmanship.
- Ensure timely completion of production schedules.
- Maintain workplace safety and proper handling of paints, chemicals, and equipment.
Technical Requirements
Candidates should have practical knowledge of painting and coating processes for metal products such as cast aluminum handrails, gates, railings, and decorative architectural components, including:
- Surface preparation through cleaning, sanding, grinding, and defect correction.
- Application of metal primers for corrosion protection.
- Spray painting using air spray or airless spray equipment.
- Knowledge of powder coating or industrial coating systems is an added advantage.
- Experience with base coat and top coat application techniques.
- Understanding of paint thickness, curing, drying, and finishing procedures.
- Ability to identify and correct paint defects such as runs, orange peel, pinholes, and uneven finishes.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience in painting supervision or industrial painting.
- Experience in automobile painting is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to maintain high-quality standards and improve production efficiency.
- Good knowledge of paints, coatings, finishing materials, and application methods.
- Senior and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
