Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chinese Chef de Partie (CDP) to manage the Chinese kitchen section and ensure the preparation of high-quality, authentic Chinese cuisine. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, wok cooking, food presentation, and kitchen operations while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and food safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese dishes as per standard recipes and restaurant guidelines.
- Manage the Chinese kitchen section independently during service.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, portion control, and presentation of all dishes.
- Supervise, train, and guide Commis Chefs and Kitchen Helpers.
- Prepare daily mise en place and ensure readiness for service.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ingredient requisitions.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain cost control.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in compliance with regulations.
- Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and introducing new dishes.
- Coordinate with Sous Chef and Head Chef for smooth kitchen operations and timely service.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in Chinese cuisine, with at least 1+ years as a CDP or DCDP.
- Strong knowledge of wok cooking, sauces, noodles, dim sum, and regional Chinese cuisine.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
