We are seeking an experienced Academic Advisor & Operations Manager to lead student success initiatives, manage academic programs, support hiring efforts, and oversee daily administrative operations. This individual will play a key role in building and preparing a high-performing team of tutors, advisors, and support staff while ensuring exceptional service for students and families. Key Responsibilities Academic Advising & Student Success Conduct academic consultations with students and parents. Assess student needs and recommend appropriate tutoring, enrichment, test prep, and leadership programs. Develop personalized academic success plans. Monitor student progress and provide regular updates to families. Collaborate with tutors to ensure academic goals are being met. Hiring & Talent Management Lead recruitment efforts for tutors, instructors, academic coaches, and support staff. Create and post job descriptions on various hiring platforms. Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidates. Coordinate onboarding and training programs for new hires. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified educators and staff. Develop staffing plans based on organizational growth goals. Team Leadership & Development Supervise academic advisors, tutors, and administrative staff. Conduct team meetings and performance reviews. Create training materials, SOPs, and best practices. Mentor team members to improve performance and student outcomes. Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-driven culture. Operations & Administration Oversee daily academic and administrative operations. Manage scheduling, class assignments, and tutor utilization. Maintain CRM, student records, and operational reports. Ensure timely communication with students, parents, and staff. Track enrollment, retention, and program performance metrics. Support implementation of new academic programs and initiatives. Parent & Client Relations Serve as the primary escalation point for parent concerns. Conduct parent meetings and academic reviews. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Develop long-term relationships with families. Business Growth Support Assist with enrollment consultations and program sales. Support marketing campaigns, webinars, and information sessions. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and student outcomes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. 3–5+ years of experience in education, academic advising, tutoring management, school administration, or related fields. Prior hiring and team management experience required. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with CRM systems, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office. Preferred Experience K–12 education, tutoring centers, enrichment programs, or online learning organizations. Student success coaching or academic counseling. Recruiting and talent acquisition.
