The Front Office Supervisor manages the front desk team, ensures smooth daily operations, and delivers high-quality customer service. They act as the first point of contact for guests or clients while supervising staff and resolving issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate front office staff (receptionists, clerks, etc.)
- Ensure a professional and welcoming environment for guests or clients
- Handle check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and inquiries (in hospitality settings)
- Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
- Train, mentor, and evaluate front desk employees
- Maintain schedules and assign duties to staff
- Monitor front office supplies and equipment
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Prepare reports on occupancy, revenue, or visitor logs (depending on industry)
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in customer service or front office roles
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in office software or property management systems (e.g., hotel PMS)
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred in some industries)
Work Environment
- Typically works in hotels, hospitals, corporate offices, or service centers
- May require shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays (especially in hospitality)
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
