About the Role
The Business Development Executive– Tendering & Business Development role involves handling tenders, preparing proposals, coordinating with clients and government departments, and supporting business development activities.
This role is suitable for someone who is confident, organised, willing to learn, comfortable interacting with clients, and able to handle multiple tasks responsibly.
Key Responsibilities.: Tender Management
- Download and review tender documents.
- Prepare and compile tender submissions, annexures, and compliance documents.
- Track tenders on portals such as GeM, Maha e-Tender, and other government websites.
- Coordinate with internal teams (technical, finance, HR, management) to complete bids on time.
- Handle online and offline tender submissions.
- Maintain proper records of all tenders and submissions.
Key Responsibilities.: Business Development Support
- Support business development activities, including lead generation, opportunity tracking, and follow-ups with domestic and international clients.
- Maintain BD pipelines, lead trackers, and client databases for structured reporting.
- Coordinate with clients, internal technical teams, finance teams, and consultants for proposals, tendering, and ongoing assignments.
- Assist in international business development, including coordination for partnerships, joint ventures, and overseas consulting opportunities.
- Prepare company profiles, capability statements, and proposal documents as per project and tender requirements.
- Prepare professional presentations on projects, proposals, credentials, and ongoing works, and deliver these presentations during client meetings, internal reviews, and business development discussions.
