Senior Supply Chain Manager – Automotive / EV Manufacturing
Job Summary
The Senior Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for developing and executing supply chain strategies to support manufacturing operations, ensuring material availability, optimizing inventory, improving supplier performance, and driving cost efficiencies. The role requires close collaboration with procurement, production, logistics, engineering, quality, and finance teams to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities : Supply Chain Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
- Drive Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
- Ensure uninterrupted material flow to manufacturing plants.
- Lead demand planning, supply planning, and capacity planning activities.
Procurement & Supplier Management
- Manage strategic sourcing and supplier relationships.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms.
- Develop supplier performance metrics and improvement plans.
- Identify and qualify new suppliers to reduce risk and improve competitiveness.
Inventory & Material Management
- Optimize inventory levels while maintaining production continuity.
- Monitor inventory turnover, stock accuracy, and working capital.
- Implement inventory reduction initiatives and material planning improvements.
Logistics & Distribution
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics operations.
- Optimize transportation costs and warehouse efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with domestic and international trade regulations.
Manufacturing Support
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Manage supply chain risks affecting production schedules.
- Lead escalation management for material shortages and supplier issues.
Cost Optimization
- Drive supply chain cost reduction initiatives.
- Improve operational efficiency through process automation and digitization.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs).
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor supply chain, planning, and logistics teams.
- Develop succession plans and build high-performing teams.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
EV Manufacturing (Preferred)
- Experience with battery supply chains, cell sourcing, and battery pack manufacturing.
- Knowledge of EV components such as motors, controllers, BMS, power electronics, and charging systems.
- Understanding of localization, supplier development, and EV industry trends.
- Experience managing supply risks related to lithium, nickel, cobalt, and semiconductor components.

Preferred Qualifications

- EV industry experience preferred.
- Experience managing large supplier networks and cross-functional teams.

Pay: ₹2,200,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
