We are looking for a highly capable WordPress Developer who can build, maintain, and scale high-performance WordPress websites for real business use cases.
This is not a theme-installation role.
We need someone who understands WordPress at a deep technical level, including custom development, architecture, performance optimization, WooCommerce systems, API integrations, and production workflows.
You should be confident taking ownership of projects, making technical decisions independently, solving complex issues efficiently, and delivering clean, maintainable code with minimal supervision.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustom WordPress Development
- Develop custom WordPress themes from Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch designs.
- Build and maintain custom WordPress plugins and reusable components.
- Create scalable and maintainable WordPress architectures for business-critical websites.
- Develop custom templates, reusable blocks, admin workflows, and backend systems.
API & Third-Party Integrations
- Integrate APIs, CRMs, analytics platforms, automation systems, and marketing tools.
- Work with REST APIs, webhooks, and external services efficiently and securely.
Performance & Security
- Improve website speed, Core Web Vitals, caching, database performance, and frontend loading.
- Troubleshoot and resolve server-side issues, plugin conflicts, and production bugs.
- Ensure websites are secure, optimized, backed up, and deployment-ready.
Deployment & Workflow
- Handle migrations, staging-to-production deployments, backups, and version control workflows.
- Work with Git-based development environments and collaborative workflows.
- Maintain coding standards, documentation, and clean project structures.
Team Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and other developers.
- Review code and support junior developers when needed.
- Estimate development timelines realistically and identify risks proactively.
Required Skills & ExperienceCore Requirements
- 2+ years of professional WordPress development experience.
- Strong expertise in PHP and WordPress core architecture.

Frontend Development

Technical Knowledge
- Good understanding of MySQL and WordPress database structures.
- Experience using Git in collaborative environments.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with:
- Website performance optimization
- SEO fundamentals
- Accessibility standards
- Cross-browser compatibility
Hosting & Infrastructure
- Comfortable working with:
- cPanel
- SSH
- FTP/SFTP
- Staging environments
- Website migrations
- Backups and deployment workflows
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with headless WordPress or modern frontend frameworks is a plus.
- Understanding of server environments and DevOps basics.
- Familiarity with AI tools, automation systems, or workflow integrations.
- Malayalam communication skills preferred.
