Job Position : Civil Site Engineer
Experience : 4 to 6 years

About the Company

Construction Company in Chandigarh.Role SummaryThe Civil Site Engineer will support pre-construction and early execution activities for the high-rise residential tower, with a strong focus on RCC structural works and accurate quantity take-offs. You will ensure that drawings are correctly interpreted on site, site processes are set up and followed, and that quality, safety, and cost objectives are met. This role is critical in stabilizing site execution and reducing rework through proactive planning, coordination, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Review and interpret structural and architectural drawings for RCC works (foundations, columns, shear walls, slabs) and translate them into clear execution plans for the site team. - Prepare, validate, and update quantity take-offs/BOQs for civil works during pre-construction and tendering, coordinating with QS and planning teams. - Assist in setting up and implementing site processes
method statements, checklists, inspection requests, DPRs, and material request systems to stabilize execution. - Coordinate with architects, structural and MEP consultants, and client/PMC representatives to resolve design discrepancies, RFIs, and constructability issues before execution. - Monitor day-to-day site activities for RCC and early finishing works to ensure adherence to drawings, IS codes, quality standards, and safety norms. - Support planning and tracking of work fronts, resource requirements, and micro-schedules in alignment with the overall project schedule. - Contribute to cost control by minimizing rework, monitoring material consumption against BOQs, and flagging deviations or potential savings to the Project Manager.

Essential requirements

4-7 years of experience as Civil Site Engineer on high-rise residential projects (minimum one project with 15+ storeys)
