Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven E-commerce QA Engineer to support our global e-commerce initiatives. This role requires expertise in JIRA, agile methodologies, and the ability to coordinate between business stakeholders and web development teams executing two-week sprints. The ideal candidate will be able to define and enforce testing strategies that lead to predictable and successful web development initiatives that continually improve our global e-commerce websites.
- Take ownership of quality control and stability of all websites and environments while testing active development tickets and company projects or initiatives on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) e-commerce platform.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test documentation based on user stories and technical specs.
- Execute manual testing for functional, regression, integration, and cross-browser/device coverage.
- Create and maintain automated testing for all active functionalities and regression testing.
- Verify backend workflows, API integrations, payment flows (e.g., Braintree, PayPal), and third-party services.
- Find, track and document bugs in Jira, and collaborate closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Proactively identify risks and edge cases in the QA process, making recommendations to improve product stability.
- Attend agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute QA insights.
- Support internal quality processes and help define best practices for SFCC QA workflows.
- 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 2+ years focused on e-commerce testing (Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience required).
- Familiarity with SFCC Business Manager, content assets, promotional campaigns, site preferences.
- Strong understanding of web application testing concepts including HTTP, REST, cookies, session handling, etc.
- Ability to create and maintain automated testing tools such as Selenium.
- Experience validating integrations with payment gateways, shipping providers, analytics tools, and PIMs.
- Proven ability to design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks using C#, leveraging Playwright for modern UI automation and Reqnroll (SpecFlow successor) for BDD-style test scenarios.
- Comfortable working across desktop and mobile, using browser dev tools and debugging tools effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset—able to work closely with developers and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Jira, test case management tools, and agile development practices.
