Job description

Role Summary

The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting management with timely reporting and financial insights. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently across multiple financial functions

Key Responsibilities

1. Core Accounting Operations

Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash disbursements, payroll, TDS, and bank reconciliation.
Ensure all accounting entries — sales, purchases, and expenses — are posted accurately and on time.
Maintain proper documentation for every accounting transaction and financial activity.

2. Accounts Payable

Ensure all vendor bills are received, verified, and entered into the accounting system promptly.
Maintain and update the creditors list on a regular basis.
Coordinate with vendors to resolve queries related to outstanding payments.
Review salary calculations submitted by HR and process payroll disbursements accurately.

3. Accounts Receivable

Maintain and update the debtors list; conduct weekly reconciliation.
Experience in Amazon/Flipkart debtor reconciliation will be considered an added advantage.
Follow up with the Customer Service Centre (CSC) for timely recovery of outstanding funds.

4. Taxation & Compliance

Coordinate with the consulting CA for tax compliance, statutory audits, and relevant filings.
Liaise with the consulting CS on company law compliance and ROC statutory requirements.
Coordinate with the PF consultant to address employee provident fund queries.
Ensure timely e-filing of all applicable tax returns and compliance deadlines.
Maintain company records in an organised manner and ensure readiness for regulatory examination.

5. Financial Planning & Reporting

Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing of accounts.
Prepare and maintain MIS reports for management review.
Submit accurate weekly reports covering financial performance and operational metrics.
Forecast cash flow requirements and ensure timely availability of funds to meet business needs.

6. Financial Controlling & Analysis

Analyse financial statements and provide actionable insights and recommendations to management.
Support management in preparing and reviewing the annual budget.
Ensure timely delivery of data required for monthly budget tracking.
Provide accurate financial information for long-term planning and strategic decision-making.

Skills & Qualification
Required:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance preferred).
2–4 years of hands-on experience in a similar accounting role.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, or equivalent ERP systems).
Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, and other applicable statutory compliances.
Strong MS Excel skills; ability to prepare MIS and financial reports independently.
High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication skills for cross-functional coordination with consultants and teams.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines consistently.

Preferred:

Experience with e-commerce reconciliation (Amazon / Flipkart).
Prior exposure to ROC filings and company secretarial compliance.
Familiarity with payroll processing software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
