Job Description Summary:
Summary:
Responsible for ensuring the quality of all products developed by Modmed Global Engineering team in terms of performance, security, reliability, scalability, usability and compatibility across various environments and devices.
Primary Duties:
- Ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing and deployment
- Conduct regular code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards and identify any issues or vulnerabilities
- Perform manual and automated testing on web applications to verify functionality, performance and usability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address product defects and implement improvements
- Work closely with developers to provide feedback and recommendations on code quality and best practices
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to web application development
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives and sprint demos
- Help define project scope, schedule and resource requirements
- Create and maintain documentation related to testing processes and results
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of working as a QA engineer in a fast-paced agile environment
- Strong knowledge of web application development technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and frameworks like React or Angular
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Docker
- Proficiency in version control systems such as Git
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality assurance principles
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium or Postman
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
- Knowledge of security best practices and testing methodologies for web applications
