Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for freshers and early-career professionals (0–1 year of experience) who are passionate about Software Testing and committed to ensuring product quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements and functional specifications.
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure functionality and usability.
- Identify, document, and track defects through their lifecycle.
- Validate bug fixes and conduct regression testing.
- Assist in API testing and basic database validation.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure product quality.
- Maintain test documentation and provide regular testing updates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–1 years of experience (Freshers are encouraged to apply)
- Basic understanding of Software Testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC.
- Knowledge of Manual Testing, test case creation, execution, and defect reporting.
- Familiarity with web and mobile application testing concepts and user workflows.
- Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts.
- Exposure to API testing using Postman is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Playwright or other automation testing tools is preferred.
- Basic understanding of ClickUp is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
